As young thief Tepeu, you accompany the enormously powerful but simple Majin across a world lost to darkness to save the kingdom and fulfill his destiny in this new action-adventure title from Namco Bandai and Yoshiki Okamoto.
It just got 7.0 (Good) at GameSpot. "Simplistic combat and tedious backtracking don't fully diminish the pleasures of this attractive and festive fable."
The Good * Lots of great environmental puzzles * Lovely visuals and music * Fun, interesting boss battles
The Bad * Backtracking gets monotonous * Shallow action * Central relationship never deepens
I for one am a bit disappointed, as the game looked like something worthy of Team Ico at one point. However, it seems it also got a B (best is A I think) from 1UP and a 8/10 from Game Informer. So might still be worth checking out I suppose.
Sounds pretty good. Is a game I'll want to check out when it gets a bit cheaper. I remember seeing the announcement trailer. Wasn't half bad... didn't know there was a demo out though!
This game is surprisingly awesome, I am nearing the end and will post a review after that but it is a really solid game adventure game with inspirations from Ico, Metroid, and Zelda.
I'm eventually going to get this game, but I've got a bunch of other stuff to get through first. I just picked up a copy of Red Dead over the weekend so my priorities are studying for exams and hopefully squeezing in an hour of game time each day.
