    Mario Kart 8 (Wii U) Review. 0

Mario Kart is one of Nintendo's most beloved franchises so it's surprising than that despite it's celebrated legacy we're still only technically on the eighth iteration, hitting the Wii U in the hopes to revitalize the struggling system. It's especially surprising when you consider just how many copies the previous console based Mario Kart on Nintendo's Wii sold, over 35 million copies. So with that said, you'd expect the folks at Nintendo to be eagerly releasing a new Mario Kart every year, ho...

    Mario Kart 8 0

Mario Kart, now with more motion sickness.I’ve been sitting here for some time now, playing Mario Kart 8 instead of getting on the computer to write a review for it. I guess that should tell you something; that I’d rather actually play the game than sit here writing about it. When it comes down to it, what can really be written about the 8th installment of a franchise that hasn’t changed a whole lot since the days of the Gamecube? Well as it turns out, quite a lot. Every track ...

    Pretty amazing 0

I would start by saying I have not played a Mariokart game since Double dash. Even when I played that game it was one solid night of play at a friends house. The last Mariokart I played religiously, as well as owned would be 64. So the game feels some what fresh and new to me. I recently purchased a Wii U, thinking I would regret the decision instantly. I was really surprised when I had not touched my PS4 in weeks, and one of the games that have kept the oddly shaped game pad in my hands is Mar...

    Mario Kart DX Review 0

Mario Kart 8 DX is a loving revamp of the Nintendo Wii U's Mario Kart 8 title. However, does the game hold to the franchise's high record? Or, does it spin out, crash, and burn? The GoodMario Kart 8 DX has new characters, never before seen in Mario Kart 8, such as King Boo and Bowser Jr. These aren't hidden behind any secret paywall, in fact, nothing in this game is, which is something to behold in the modern age of gaming. You begin the game with all characters (except one secret character) and...

An arcade game in the age of the forever game. 0

Watching credits roll on a game is one of the fulfilling things when it comes to gaming. You’ve met a game halfway. They delivered an experience and you met them on their terms. I’ll always feel compelled to go back to a game that I didn’t see credits for.Sonic the Hedgehog 2 The Movie was good. Real, real good. I wonder why the Sonic games can’t play as well as Mario Kart does. I know that no matter what Mario Kart level I am playing that I will have a good time and the...
