Fun but a bit long and not enough variety

This game looks great, I loved the world that they created and I enjoyed the music.

This game has been described as an X-Com like game, it is in only the most basic sense; while I enjoyed the game I was disappointed with how simply it was and the lack of progression, you have all your abilities from the start and all upgrades to weapons and abilities were just bigger numbers.

The game felt really long, there are a lot of battles and they are mostly the same enemies with bigger numbers vs your team doing the same moves with bigger numbers.

Of the 8 playable characters, I really only used 3 regularly because they were the only two with healing abilities which felt necessary for a lot of the battles, I would have loved to use the different characters with their new abilities but it never felt like a reasonable trade off.

I've never played a Rabbids game before I was worried they would be annoying but they were just fine. Rabbids opera put a big stupid grin on my face.

I found the difficulty to be a bit odd for the most part it was extremely easy but there is a stretch in the middle of the game that can be pretty brutal.

After you finish the game, they add a bunch of challenge maps, I tried the first one and it was brutally hard, not sure I want to spent the time to grind up to be able to do these challenges.
