Ok, so the other day, me and one of my mates were talking about Mario, and I can't remember why it came up, but I mentioned he was a fat Italian plumber, and he said, "don't be so stupid, he's not Italian, he's Mexican". I laughed at him and told him he was wrong. So he asked me why he always says "Mexico" then. I was confused, I'd never heard Mario say "Mexico", so I asked him where, and he said he say's it tonnes in Super Mario 64. So we dust off the old N64, put SM 64 on, and when Mario says "lets-a-go" he says "see, I told you he says Mexico". Definitely a facepalm worthy moment.

Originally a carpenter named Jumpman, this Italian plumber has gone on to become the most recognizable video game character of them all, starring in a veritable pantheon of titles like kart racing and sports. He has been voiced by Charles Martinet for nearly 20 years.
My friend is an idiot.
When you say it was a "facepalm worthy moment", I trust you mean your palm meeting his face in a slapping motion. Because he definitely deserves it for that piece of gaming blasphemy.
