Mark Hoppus is the lead vocalist and bassist for the band, Plus 44 (often written as 44).Plus 44's debut album, When Your Heart Stops Beating, was released in September 2006. He was also the bassist and one of the vocalists of blink-182, from when they formed in 1992, until their break up in February 2005, which their record label was calling a "indefinite hiatus".
At the 2009 Grammy awards Blink 182 was on stage together for the first time in 5 years. They announced that they are back. Later on they announced a new summer tour and a new album
