    I have 18 people on my friends list, mostly from Giant Bomb, and I'm in 17th place.  I can do the 1 million super skill shot only very rarely.  Is there some trick?  What am I missing?

    Well, like anything else... you just need to practice. Do not change very often to other tables so that you don't lose your timing... 
    Take breaks and try again to improve.
