It's the way it worded and the fact that the dlc Characters are worded that makes me think more of the original roster are to come. Mostly just heart over head here :C
there are no more characters in MvC3, at least on disc. 36 is the amount every preview mentions
Also, the "follow us on twitter and facebook" msg has been there for every character, and either it´s just lazyness that its still there, or its refering to more DLC characters, which everyone assumes there will be. if you look at the complete character screen (with akuma, tasky, hsien and sent there) from the german mag, you can see 4 blank spaces in the 4 corners, 1 space next to chris and wesker (obviously for Jill), one space next to dormammu and doom (both villains so obviously for Shuma), and then 2 more spaces on the bottom, so at best the more characters are more DLC, which I do believe will come (more after jill and shuma that is), at least 2 more.
I would hope it's Mega Man. He seems like the largest omission right now. But, if they were to add the Smith Syndicate as one character, that would great. Of course, all those models would be incredibly resource-intensive.
Capcom has confirmed to Shacknews that there are indeed more character reveals to come in the next couple weeks. We're completely off book at this point, none of our twitter leakers have had any of this information for us.
Oh fuck I just realized, technically they haven't announced the bosses Galactus and Cosmic Doom... so they might not even be playable characters they're announcing. Fucking technicalities.
How could a fighter have that many characters without ruining balance?
MvC2 hit this sort of anti-balance where about 9 or so characters ended up being playable with only a few brave souls pulling in second and third stringers for some crazier teams.
