    With so much emphasis on MK lately a lot of players like Justin Wong haven't been putting much practice into the Capcom games. It's the perfect time for Daigo to swoop in and take the prizes and places at EVO. Now that the MK Nationals are over it's up to America's finest to get practising before they all get blown up.

    This is looking like one of the more exciting EVOs, can't wait.

    I love Diago so much. I've never been more excited about a video game then when I saw the full parry video for the first time.

    If there was ever a pantheon of pro-gamer Elder Gods, he would be the fighting game Elder God.
    Fatal1ty would be the FPS Elder God. The RTS Elder God would be a seat of contention for sure.

    In fairness he won't have much else to go on at this stage, MvC3 players in Japan must be few and far between unless he's got some friends learning the game with him.

    Daigo playing MVC3?? Seriously?? FUCK YES.


    I mean, from what little I know of the fighting scene, it seems like MvC3 would not be Daigo's game at all, so I wouldn't be surprised if he does pretty poorly, but still... TOTALLY HYPED FOR EVO NOW.

    Wait, are you implying that Diago Umehara is good at fighting games? I had no idea. In any case, should be interesting to see him play Marvel vs Capcom 3. Heck, I bet he'd be awesome at Mortal Kombat if that game meant anything in Japan.

    As long as he beat Justin Wong, then I'm all for him going to MVC3. But seriously, he needs to stay away from MK, I'd like to know I still have a chance, however fantastical that sounds.

    @FLStyle: You do know that Daigo didn't win 3rd Strike at Evo 2004, right? KO won that year. It's weird because people generally assume he won after seeing the full parry video.
