A semi post your arcade stick thread, but not having one is fine too of course. Fightpads are nice and for this game even more viable.
 
I just finally got around to adding a headset port to my PS3 TE, it's dual modded to work on 360 but I never bothered hooking up the headset port on the 360 pad inside so I could use my 360 headset when using it, I figured I should get around to doing it so I can chat with friends while playing MvC3, which I'll be doing a lot of! When I was playing Super SFIV it kind of sucked spending all that time on it without being able to chat with friends, whether it was ones I was playing with or friends on other games but in my XBL party. 
  

My arcade stick for sure.

Just a fightpad, I prefer them over arcade sticks. I'm sure arcade sticks are more precise once you get used to them or whatever, my my local arcade was turned into a Barnes & Nobel when I was 7, so I was raised on controllers.

I don't think they are more precise but I do find them more comfortable, I find it weird to use all three fingers on a row of buttons on a fightpad, they just feel a bit too small if you ask me!  plus I find the dpad can really hurt your thumb after a while "

Dualshock 3... (Though probably a 360 controller at my friends house... lame.)

Either a Madcatz SE stick/DS3 if I get it on PS3, or a Madcatz fightpad if I get it on 360.

I'll be using my stock SSFIV TE stick. Someday I'll find you some parts, my pretty. Someday...

An unmodded TE Round 2 for 360. I adapted to a stick with SF4 and I'm glad I have my bearings now with Marvel 3!

My normal, ordinary, average Hori Fight Stick AND my normal, ordinary, average Dualshock 3 controller.

I own a stick but its about as easy to perform a shrouken with it as it is to perform brain surgery.

 i need money to fix my TE.... someone give me money to fix my TE :'(

I'm gonna try with the fightstick I got on clearance a year ago, but if that doesn't work out, i'll be using my fightpad.

Want to use a fightstick, but I'm not really sure where to start, as well as if I want to get into fighting games that much. Though with my continuing interest with Blazblue, and with this being yet another fighting game to add to my collection, I might just need to start looking for one.

Nothing, because I'm broke and can't buy any games for a while (let alone expensive arcade sticks). It makes me le sad.

Analog sticks on a Standard 360 controller.  Ever since SF2 on the SNES I've been cursed with being balls out terrible using a D-pad in any fighter that's highly reliant on fireball motions.  I feel like an idiot but I can only pull off a fireball like 60% of the time I try and one and getting a dragon punch to execute is only at like 16%.  With the sticks I'm near 100 though. 

I've got a tendency to rest my fingers on arcade buttons and in MVC2 that always meant I'd swap out characters in the middle of a combo by mistake, so those are a no go as well.

I'll be getting to use my bro's TE for MvC3, he gets to use it for SSFIV, I get it for this game (since I bought it)
 
Works out fine, however I have to learn how to use the darn thing.

Probably my fightpad though I will try out my regular ass controller as well. I am not yet crazy enough to purchase a fightstick.

I'm interested in an arcade stick, but due to my using some sort of a D-Pad for the past 15 years (since the Game Boy version of SF2), I have never once found an joystick set up comfortable. I can use it, but I certainly don't prefer it over the immediacy I have on a regular four face button controller. DualShock 3 it is.

@demontium: Haha honestly I found that image through Google, threw the image into a template in Photoshop, then had the artwork printed and cut through Art's Hobbies.

silver 360 controller with the adjustable d-pad.  Works good enough for me.
