I'm willing to believe the rumor, however I think this source for it is bogus. Too much personal info, dude could likely get tracked down with what he described, and thus, I don't think he'd do this.

I was so confused by the last 15 minutes of ME3 that I honestly choose to believe the indoctrination theory, or that there might be some sort of epilogue dlc, but this, nah, calling fake.

Just feels like someone trying to hard too cobble together a fake story.

I read about this from a different source (maybe? it was supposedly "sourced anonymous") - claimed it would be free DLC (only reason I'm assuming it's a different rumor). Also included the rumored Multiplayer classes, another map and another Multiplayer faction to fight against... in said free DLC.

But no, I'm not going to get my hopes up based on some BS rumor that ANYONE could have cobbled together. Maybe it's true, then we'll see in April? Maybe it's just another troll taking advantage of the situation (much likelier).

That's fake as shit.

So is the 'new multiplayer class Asari Justicar!' stuff because justicars are already in there.

According to the writer of ME1 and 2 the premise for the conclusion was change mid way through production. It was supposed to be about combating Dark Energy and the Human Reaper.

If this DLC exists and is the "true ending" hence the name "The Truth", then Bioware will get blown to smithereens by angry Internet-heroes if it isn't free.

I'm calling fake on this one as well. The last "rumor" about the DLC seemed more legit than this does.

People need to stop looking for conspiracies here. Just because some people didn't like the end, doesn't mean Bioware made them not like it on purpose.

Well considering they deliberately made the ending vague so, as their lead writer (or was it Casey Hudson? I think it was the lead writer, but it's one of them) wrote to "cause lots of speculation from everyone", and one of the biggest complaints is the complete lack of closure and how nothing make sense, it's pretty debatable that they did it on purpose.

That said I have no idea why someone bumped this week old thread to tell us he thinks it's fake when they've already said it's fake and it's already been debunked.

It sounds like it's written by an angry fan. The Day DLC bit gave it away for me. If it's fake.

@JoyfullOFrockets: Nah, it's Mass Effect. People will throw their money at the screen as sonn as DLC is promised anyway. No reason to make a bad ending just to get more money.

Judging by the terrible writing, it's obviously fake. That's fine.

However, if "the Truth DLC" comes out and costs $10...I have to admit that I'll totally buy it.

Don't care, I won't support anything BioWare release to fix or explain the ending.

All this fuss over ME3, and that ME3 was mediocre has made me want nothing to do with this series for a long, long time...
