Mass Effect is a science fiction franchise created by BioWare. The main games follow the adventures of Commander Shepard, the first human Spectre, as he/she tries to protect the galaxy from an ancient and malevolent alien race.
if it was more like phantasy star, where you have a lobby with all the people and then go do 4 player coop missions, then yes.... as it could still have third person shooter mechanics and etc.... but if it's getting converted into MMO combat mechanics then no thanks.
No. I'm into MMOs, but they aren't unique enough anymore. Which reminds me that one of these days I need to check out that Fallout 2 MMO again and see how that's been doing. Also the last Bioware game that I enjoyed was Dragon Age: Origins, so there's that.
I think it would have serious potential, and if it miraculously managed to realize all of that potential it would be amazing and I'd totally play it. But with the current state of MMO's, I just don't think it would be a smart move. Also, everyone's expectations (including mine) would be so high for this game, I fear it could never live up to our (the players) aspirations for the Mass Effect MMO we would want.
No. The stories/settings/characters of MMOs aren't why I avoid them, it's the gameplay and design. I might watch some of the more important world stuff on youtube, but that's about it.
I probably would. And then I would get angry about all the MMO stuff in it since i don't like that part at all and start thinking about how it would be better if it was a single player RPG. Just like I did with SWTOR.
