Did anyone else get a big Armageddon vibe when playing Bring Down The Sky? Strutting around in a large tank like vehicle with "hydraulics (for lack of a better word) on an asteroid moving fast towards a potentially doomed human planet?

Sounds like inspiration to me at least. FYI I enjoyed BDTS, had a nice sense of urgency that some of the other missions seriously lacked (e.g. whats the Thorian gonna do if I DONT kill it? Kill 17 colonists when I'm supposed to be saving the Galaxy???)

Hmm, i never really thought about that but it IS a little like the movie Armageddon.

I remember someone of the Bioware forums said the intro to Mass Effect was ripped directly from Top Gun which is dead on!
