Mass effect is without a doubt one of the best games ever made, it has some flaws but when you look at it in its majority you cannot help but give it a pure 10/10.

The graphics are superb , a massive jump forward from kotor , another amazing epic game. Some people were complaining for the film grain effect but i prefer the game with it. Graphics are crystal clear and of high quality. also i wanna mention that i played mass effect on max settings with max AA and in 1680x1050 on my 9600 gt and it was smooth all the time.
The sound effects make you max your volume, i played the whole game on headphones just because of sound effects and the music.
The music ... what can i say here?? i ll just say that wile i am writing this i am listening to this score. there were a lot of times that i stood up and took a militery stance and saluted the screen, all because of music. every single moment in game fits 100% with the music. it is always there sucking you in...

The gameplay, similar to kotor, lots of dialogue options that build your character (after all it is an rpg) and there are A LOT OF DILLEMAS twhich are very important. seriously there were times i waited 10 mintes before i answer.
the battle is sim ilar to kotor again but more tactical and less interactive, meaning you can order your members what to do and where to go but you cannot control them like kotor (if you have not played kotor SHAME ON YOU)
I could review this game for eternity and it would not be enough.
i only found 1 flaw though, the little planets you visit distract you from the main plot , there should be more side quests in those planets.
anyway this game is a must BUY , support bioware cause it deserves it. this game is a masterpiece.
seriously when i finished the game i could not play another game for a long time, nothing could top mass effect for a couple of weeks.
