My retailer lists the PC version of Max Payne 3 with a 2 week delay. Anybody got solid information on the PC version? Now I usually don't care about Rockstar delaying the PC version of their games, but Max Payne 1 & 2 are PC games first and foremost and I think that should be reflected by releasing Max Payne 3 day and date on PC too.

Slight nerd rage building right here.

I would not worry too much about. Maybe they have to fix online gameplay of it. Or maybe fix graphics on it. But like I said i would not worry about it.

Eh, I don't mind the two week delay, especially if it means a headache free launch. I just hope that they didn't delay it to squeeze a couple console version sales out of people who don't want to wait.

Just like the picture you have on there? LOL! Yeah 2 week delay is good for me. Enough time for me to play my other games i got to finish.

It's to curb potential launch week piracy, same reason other publishers pull the same shit (See Batman or Borderlands for examples). Make no mistake, the PC is just as ready to go as the consoles if not more ready because they don't need to go through platform cert.

I really REALLY hope it won't be a console port, like GTA IV was... because, even on high end PCs it had framerate issues. And since Max Payne was a PC franchise (as someone else already mentioned it), it will be a nice touch for Rockstar to optimize the shit out of it to run smoothly even on a bit older PCs. With this in mind, I'm looking forward for the release and I have some high expectations.

Welcome back, Max... we've been waiting for ya!

This sucks, but I don't mind waiting two weeks for a proper PC release. At least it's coming out relatively soon. I would really freak out if the PC release was months after the consoles, like with most Rockstar games.

Ironically Rockstar published the console ports of Max Payne 1 and 2 back then.

Nevertheless it would be a shame if the PC version was delayed.

The released screenshots look nice, but yeah the delay seemed to be set:

"the PC version will be available on May 29, 2012 in North America and June 1, 2012 internationally."
