Max Payne 3 is delayed again, who knew... It's only pushed back two months, from March down to May. It's stuff like this that makes me wish publishers would just make an announcement of a new game when it hits gold status, so we know when we can actually get excited for a title. I'dd bet the shareholders would disagree with that.
 
So, how does this sound to you? With titles like Mass Effect 3, Twisted Metal and Kingdoms of Amalur, is Q1 filled up enough already or was Max Payne 3 the sole reason for the existence of the month March?

Since Rockstar almost owned April / May in the past years (GTA IV in 08, Red Dead in 2010 and LA Noire in 2011) I can see why they push Max Payne 3 to May. That move should also confirm that GTA V is not coming out in May.

Isn't GTA5 coming out the same month? Seems weird if Rockstar released both their big games in the same month.

This is one of my most anticipated games but I don't mind the delay, it'll just give them more time to polish it and give me more time to play SSX before I pick this one up.

I knew this would happen. It seems like every year they have to delay their March game into May. Knew it!

As long as it kicks ass when it comes out, I'm fine.

I was half expecting Holiday, and then May next year. This game must have been completely sideways at one point. I remember amazon taking preorders for a 2010 release.

Hopefully it's good. It is the Bully guys.

What is it that gets people excited for Max Payne? I don't know anything about #3. Why is it cool?

@Ravenlight: For me, it's because I love the series. Max Payne 2 is in my top 10 games of all time. I was skeptical that the 3rd wasn't being made by Remedy until I saw this video which showed that it is going to live up to its predecessors:

If this means a more polished game, great stuff.

So like Red Dead Redemption and L.A. Noire. Truth be told, I didn't even know it was a March release. May has become synonymous with Rockstar Releases for me.

Yea not surprised. I doubt that GTA5 will be out in May this year too...

Even though I'm really, REALLY looking forward to this game, I'm actually kind of glad this happened, because there are about 7 other games coming out over the next 2 months that I want to play.
