At least we were ready for another Max Payne 3 delay. During Take-Two's financial conference call yesterday, the publisher revealed that the shooter would be pushed back beyond October 31 (via Joystiq), making good on its own speculation that one big Take-Two fiscal 2010 release could be delayed.

In happier news, Max Payne 3's delay comes with news that Mafia II, L.A. Noire and Civilization V are all still on schedule to be released by the end of October. Mafia II is likely to be the first of the bunch. It's slated for release on August 26 on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. A demo should drop that month, too, according to what was said during the thrilling call.
