Mechs (or Mecha) are humanoid-like pilot driven vehicles often depicted in media as a combat machine. Early examples of Mech/Mecha in video games are often derived from early manga and anime as well as table-top games.
What type of Mech do you guys prefer, the more Japanese style Mecha or the more western flavored Mechs? I tend to prefer the western BattleTech-esq Mech designs as I find them more "realistic". And how does Metal Wolf Chaos figure into this?
I prefer the Japanese style Mechas like those seen in the Gundam wing series. However, I do agree with you that the western style Mechs do seem more realistic in most cases.
Western Style mechs are awesome. Most mechas are too stylized for me. I want my mechs to be grungy, dirty, and realistic, not neon colored and sword swinging.
