After playing Medal of Honor online for nearly a week I think I've come to the conclusion that I'm not nearly good enough at the multiplayer to get the Fire Controller achievement. To those who don't know this is for using all of the offensive support options over your career online. I can manage to get up to the third rank easily enough (about 200 points or so) but I have never progressed past that. In fact in order to even get the final one (cruise missile) you have to score somewhere around 600 points. Something I have only seen a couple of people do at all.
 
So, basically does anyone have any good advice on how to possible get this other than "suck less"?
 
Otherwise I'm quite enjoying the multiplayer. It isn't going to replace Call of Duty or Bad Company anytime soon but it's perfectly functional and featured. We'll see how well DICE supports it in the coming months.

I find that once you hit the third support (guided missile, I think), it starts getting easier to chain supports. Honestly, just snipe and keep calling down those low-level supports and eventually you'll get a lucky shot and chain your way to the achievement.

I just had a game where I scored over a thousand points. However, not knowing how the strafing run worked I dropped it only for it to land on myself and about half the other people on the map. So close. lol

Indeed. I'm also becoming an expert at conserving defensive support actions until I'm sure they'll put me over to the next one. If you get real good at that you can get up to the point where when you die you can bust several of those out in a chain to get right back up to near where you were. All in all though I'm going to be very happy when I get this achievement and can then stop. Brutal.
