    Biography

While her name was not mentioned and she did not physically appear in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, her existence was alluded to in an A support conversation between Brom and Zihark. She is the second oldest daughter of Brom. She was often looked after by Nephenee, and she hails from the town of Ohma, in the country of Crimea. She looked for the man Brom wanted her to marry by going to Daein, since that was the place he was until he had disappeared. Along the way, she had been spying on Micaiah and Sothe because she was too shy to actually approach them, and the two, noticing that they had been followed and fearing it was an enemy, had jumped her. Micaiah noticed that Meg did not have any intentional malice because of her ability, and hearing that Meg was looking for someone important to her, Micaiah allowed her to join the Dawn Brigade.

Later on, Zihark would join the Dawn Brigade, and would have a base conversation with Meg. In this base conversation, Meg reveals that Zihark was her "fiancee" that Brom had wanted her to marry because her older sister had already gotten married some time ago. Ignoring Zihark's annoyance and protests, she declares that she will be a great wife to him.

Possible Continuation Error: Brom said that Meg was his second oldest daughter in the A support conversation with Zihark. However, Meg tells Zihark that she is Brom's youngest daughter in her base conversation. The second oldest daughter in the A support conversation must have been Meg because Zihark says that Brom told him that his second oldest daughter could lift a full-grown cow. Meg is that person who could lift a full-grown cow. Unless, Zihark had mistaken Meg for the second oldest daughter.

    Personality

"I'll work hard every waking moment to become a good wife! Even during a fight! See you later, pookums!"
--Meg, to Zihark, in a base conversation

Meg is a very kind girl. She is usually shy and nervous around people, as evident from how she speaks in her base conversations. She is also quite determined and works hard as evident from the quote underneath the Personality header in this article. Despite her shyness, she has a cheerful disposition like Edward. She is said by Brom to be able to lift a full-grown cow and haul it back to the barn when it escaped, so her husky build could actually be mostly muscle.

    Classes

Meg starts off as a level three armored sword knight. When she reaches level twenty or uses a Master Seal when she reaches level ten and above, she will class change to the Second Tier Class Sword General and gain the ability to use E-grade lances. When she reaches level twenty again or uses a Master Crown when she reaches level ten and above in that class, she will class change to the Third and final Tier Marshall and gain the ability to use axes in addition to swords and lances.

Meg comes with the pre-assigned skill, Fortune.

    Military Affiliation

Meg may hail from Crimea, but she sides with Micaiah and fights for Daein's freedom. She will never join Crimea until Part Four when everyone is on equal terms and fight against Ashera's Order. While Meg is fighting on Micaiah's side, Brom and Zihark will be unable to attack her if they are on opposing sides. If Zihark is on the opposing side, he can talk with her, but she will be unable to recruit him back to Daein's side.

    Supports

The support system in Radiant Dawn is more simplified and less detailed, so Meg can have a support with anyone she spends a lot of time with.

In her C support conversation, Meg will comment on the weather (she'll always say it's a fine day). In her B support conversation, she will ask the unit if they want to gang up on the enemy with her. In her A support conversation, she will say that she hates fighting, but there was some good in it because she was able to meet the unit when they are fighting.

As it turns out, there is some unused content on the support system for Radiant Dawn. If Meg were to have a support with certain characters, then she would have a full-length support conversation in the A support conversation only. Of course, the full-length support conversation for the A support was cut out. This may be due to Ike and Micaiah having an immense amount of potential A support conversations...and either of them alone would be too many.

The characters that were planned to have the special support conversation with (and the possible reasons) were:

    • Brom (her father, this is obvious)
    • Kyza (no idea)
    • Laura and Micaiah (Part of the Dawn Brigade)
    • Nephenee (Nephenee looked after her when she was little)
    • Astrid (they were both regarded as characters that started out weak, but become strong)
    • Vika (no idea)
    • Ulki (no idea)
    • Zihark (to win him over, perhaps?)
