A fruit is a sweet and edible food that contains seeds. It is one of the major food groups according to the USDA. In many games, fruit is a bonus item, while vegetables rarely are.
Hearts in video games are often associated with health or extra lives. From picking them up free of charge to buying them for in-game money.
Used to open doors, or anything else that is locked. In any game where the player has an inventory, it's a safe bet that a key will appear at some point.

A valuable item that is highly sought after, often used as a reward or incentive to complete objectives. Also used as a currency in many role-playing games.
