You know what I know for a lot of people this is great news because they love both off shoots but I could never really get into either, maybe it was the fact that don't really like anime all that much or maybe because I didn't see the appeal of the gameplay.

Their actually pretty good games, only problem is that it is the same rehashed stuff.  It is a real milking machine.

I would go as far as to say I hate these games. The only thing I've been happy about on the Mega Man front was the recent Mega Man 9, everything else just annoys me. These games do nothing for me, for me Mega Man should be about platform shooting with a insane difficulty.

Well, MegaMan 9 was fun but not what I wanted out of a sequel, the 8 bit graphic was just a novelty, the fact it was 8 bit doesn't mean it was actually better than previous games.

MegaMan X9 is in high demand from fans over at Capcom Unity, and those people (including myself) are really hoping that Capcom doesn't go all 16 bit on that game. MegaMan X9 should be a true sequel.

Yeah I heard about that, even when 9 was rumoured fans were hoping it would be a new game in the X series.

I only like one or two games in the X series. I have them all as part of Megaman Collection on Gamecube (US Import), but I haven't played them all to be perfectly honest. The 8 bit structure and tough gameplay is more my thing.

More like Mega Man X9, now that sounds a lot better.
