Hey I was thinking that since some of MGS3's Easter Eggs are REALLY good. You guys should do a bonus episode post-game where you watch all (ok maybe not ALL) the stuff in the Secret Theatre for the game.

I mean sure it's just cutscenes but you had a whole episode for trailers about MGS2. Plus some of the best damn comedy in any Metal Gear game is in there. "The Quick Ending" had me hurting with laughter when I saw it. There's just some real Gold in there that's definitely worth a watch.

Just a thought.

@reverendk: I don't believe so. I believe they are just spoofs of the game's cut-scenes with legitimately funny stuff added.

You definitely need to have beaten the game to get some of the references though.

Looks like they did quite a bit of work creating these as well.

Secret Theater either requires you to have a clear save file on your memory card or a save where you chose "I like MGS3", which only requires about a five minute investment.

The Secret Theatre is absolutely fantastic. Drew would probably think it was really funny, based on his reactions to the weird stuff in the games so far. They'd have to dig out a PS2 Subsistence copy to play it, though I suppose that shouldn't be much of a problem.

So, basically, I agree. @danryckert, if you're reading this: this is a great idea!

Ever since they started mgs3, I am simply waiting for the secret theater! I can't wait for metal gear sigint. Also if its on the disc, metal gear ape escape.

I wish they had done the "let's watch the MGS3 trailers" thing like they did before 2. Really enjoyed that episode.

So i brought this idea up with Dan at Pax East, and he said they would look into it after they finish MGS3.

Yes they should definitely do a bonus episode. MGS3 has some great eastern eggs but more importantly, I think the MGS4 trailers are are fantastic and really half the fun of Metal Gear is the hysteria that happens after new trailers release. I can totally understand not showing him the trailers though, don't spoil Raiden being a ninja and stuff. I dunno how much of MGS4 he actually knows about.

Oh my god, I started watching that secret theatre. Ocelot's epic boarding fail was amazing.

I would love to have them play some VR missions, the skating minigame, ALL of Snake vs Monkey, watch the secret theatre and maybe go over some easter eggs.

The other day I got Subsistence running in PCSX2 so I could capture them all in HD only to discover they're all pre-rendered videos. Wish they'd included them upscaled anyway but I'm sure they'd look like shit.
