It's the day before the release and apparently Konami isn't allowing any reviews yet. If they don't come out today then they'll be launching the day the game comes out which just doesn't seem like good business. Not even IGN who usually gets reviews weeks or even a month before a game's release has no review.
 
I usually love Metal Gear but this game is still quite mysterious... the gameplay looks funky as hell and I'm not sure yet.

I'm already sold on this game, but yeah it's a tad weird that this game didn't have any pre-release review copies sent out... 

embargos on reviews are becoming more and more common, gone are the days (or mostly gone) where embargos meant "that game is shit"

Yeah, I am still going to buy this game since I am a huge Metal Gear fan and it is not going to be pure trash so I am pretty sure I am going to pick it up tomorrow.  Can't wait!

I know IGN is putting up a review tonight at midnight, so I'm thinking that other sites will be as well.  
 
However, this game is the single reason why I bought a PSP. I'm buying it. Otherwise my purchase was for naught! (I kid, I have other great games, like GTA Chinatown Wars).  
 
Also, I remember there being embargoes on MGS4, and that game was pretty epic. In fact, I bought it on launch day without having read a review. 

in case you haven't notice, if it says Metal Gear Solid on it, its obviously gonna sell.

I still just hope this'll be available on PSN as a ps3 download so I can actually play the thing, regardless of reviews =/

Yeah, I was wondering why I haven't seen any reviews yet. I'm picking up the Collector's Edition tomorow.

Reviews are out and the game is getting crazy good reviews.

Does David Hayter actually voice Snake in this? I noticed in the GT review that not Snake didn't utter a single line of dialogue.
