@Redbullet685 Whats the point of preventing someone getting the quest? I was interested in this before they announced the HD rerelease but I'm not bothered now.
Agreed. I just wanted to play MGS 3 again, but in a new way. But yeah, I'd rather HD than blurry overrated 3D on my 3DS which has been gathering dust since I got it. If only I could find the f**kin' AR cards ... then I could sell it!
That's not Solid, bro.The most badass Green Beret that ever lived, Solid Snake!(next to Rambo that is.)
yup.
not buying a 3ds for a remake--i mean port of a game i've already played with worse controls than the ps2 version (if that's even possible)
This is probably what will get me to buy a 3DS. Never played the original game, kinda always wanted to.
Even though MGS3 is my favorite game in the series, I'm not interested in replaying it, especially on a handheld.
Why would I bother with this or the MGS collection when I can play MGS 1 through 4 on my PS3, and play Peace Walker on my PSP?
"Durrhurr buy games you already have AGAIN"
I suppose it's not any different than what has been done with all the rereleases of stuff like final fantasy, chrono trigger etc but that always made a bit more sense to me because the original systems those games were on were dead.
My backwards compatible PS3 is still working just fine thanks.
Yoshi Gear?
Photo camo looked the only genuinely great thing. Otherwise it seems far more worthwhile getting out the PS2 and giving this legendary game another go around.
Wish they'd remake MGS 1 - 3 for the PS3. Now that would be immense.
I'll stick with the PS2 or even the HD versions thanks.
I've always wondered why the first Metal Gear Solid hasn't been remade/remastered. The other day I read that it has something to do with Nintendo still holding certain rights to the game because of the GameCube remake, Twin Snakes. Fucking crazy huh !?!
