The stand-alone prelude to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, giving players a taste of the new open-world gameplay mechanics while setting up the main game's story, as Snake (Big Boss) must infiltrate a prison camp to rescue his comrades.
I wonder who'd they'd get for snake and some of the other characters. You need good chemistry between Otacon and Snake and Snake and the villain.
I think Josh Holloway has the right look for a mid 30's snake. Maybe Kurt Russel for old snake or even Sam Elliot - at least he has the whole pushbroom mo down.

I can see Holloway. I only know him from lost though, does he always have the southern accent?
Some reason Christian Bale squinting would probably look like MGS1 snake.
It won't be good. I don't care what they do or who they hire for any of the roles or key positions this movie will not be good. The story is too fucking dumb to be any good as a movie. It works for a game but a movie is another beast.
