More and more console games are also coming to the PC, but some heavy hitters remain elusive. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes will not be among those games, however.

A Metal Gear-related event is happening at Gamescom as I write this, but Konami Europe updated its website a tad early. Oops. We should hopefully have more details on Metal Gear's expansion onto the PC soon.

Awesome! Can't wait to play it. I doubt this would ever happen, but it'd be nice if the rest of the series came to PC as well.

Cool. Not only because I get to play MGS5 on my platform of choice, but because it might mean there will be less of a hurdle porting future fox engine games to PC. Looking forward to buying the demo again.

Good news for PC people! And if the game looks as good as it does and runs at 1080P 60FPS on PS4 (which is does, they've said so and Ground Zeroes does), then imagine what the PC version will look like!

Konami likes money, then? You could hardly tell from their output over the last few years.

Not really a PC gamer myself but i'm glad they're giving people more choices on what to get it on.

Not that the PC was ever down, but I feel like it is having a huge resurencge in terms of console games now coming to PC.

I love it, but also makes me regret buying the new consoles big time.

Maybe this will be the excuse to upgrade my 570gtx

Unless all prior Metal Gear games also come to PC, not interested, as that's not a universe I feel one can just "jump into".

I played Meta Gear Solid on a PS1, but missed all the others.

Still, cool that more Japanese companies are making PC ports now. If only Bayonetta 1 & 2 would make it to PC.

Great! Even less of a reason to buy the new consoles anytime soon. Let's hope they can make a worthwhile PC version though.

I'm pretty happy about this. However, other than Bloodborne (and maybe that new Michel Ancel joint) there's not much coming up for consoles I'm amped for. I'm starting to see some dust gather on my PS4 after only a couple months.

this. i suppose i have easy enough access to the rest if i really wanted them all (2 and 3 are already on my vita and i suppose i can pick up the original MGS for it as well)
