    Background

    Metal Man was one of Wily's original robots in Mega Man 2. Based off of Cut Man, he uses the Metal-Blade, which is a quick-moving saw that blazes across the screen. When Mega Man gets the weapon, the blade works the same, but can also be shot in eight directions depending on which direction is being held at the time of firing. His boss strategy consists of moving the floor and of firing Metal-Blades. He is also in Mega Man 3 in form of a Doc Robot like all the other Robot Masters were in that game.

    Ironically, he is weak to his own weapon, which will take him out in just two hits.
