While looking through the items that were discounted for prime member preorders I came across a game called Metroid Prime: Blast Ball rather than Federation Forces. Were they always separate entities or did Nintendo decide to remove the story and give us Rocket League 0.5? I don't want to be too harsh as I love Nintendo and Metroid but when Nintendo misses, they usually miss pretty hard...

Seeing as how the reception was almost 100% negative, I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo decided that the Federation Force brand was too tarnished to even be worth putting on the market.

I suspect it's a placeholder thing, but who really knows. That game's initial reception was such a thud that I doubt anyone on Amazon's end cares enough to investigate and update it.

I thought it looked like a fun game that unfortunately got slapped with the metroid name so everyone would have high expectations or feel personally slighted.
