    Early Life and Career

    Born in Vancouver on December 15th 1970, Shanks graduated from the University of British Columbia with Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. After appearing in several stage productions Shanks landed the role of Dr. Daniel Jackson in Stargate SG-1 - the television adaptation of the 1994 feature film Stargate.

    Game Appearences

    Shanks gave his likeness and voice to three Stargate games to date - Stargate SG-1: Unleashed, Stargate: Resistance, and Stargate SG-1: The Alliance; in both cases portraying the same character that he did in the TV series.
