Michael Winans
Programmer for Mattel and Atari in the early 1980s.
Michael Winans worked on the Intellivision port of Lock 'n' Chase, and later defected to console rival Atari (Company) in 1983. He was named in a $40 million lawsuit brought against Atari by Mattel in that year, alleging that he and other employees had provided Atari with Mattel trade secrets.
Winans would also develop the Intellivision (Platform) port of Pac-Man, one of the first games to be issued under the AtariSoft label.
