Overview
Microsoft Bingo is a free-to-play bingo game developed and digitally releasedby Microsoft Studios (co-developed with Frima) for the PC and Windows Phone on December 23, 2013.
Part of the Microsoft Casual Games series, Microsoft Bingo is a digital adaptation of the U.S. variant of the game Bingo. Players connect to online matches with one or more 5x5 Bingo Cards (with optional "Power Cards" for betting) and attempt to get as many "bingos" from the lobby as they can.
The game is themed after tropical vacations, with players unlocking new locales (each with different bonuses) as they progress. The game also features Xbox Live support (including achievements and leaderboards).
Unlike other free-to-play games in the series, which only have in-game advertisements (which can be disabled through a monthly/yearly Premium membership), Microsoft Bingo also uses a microtransaction system and a loot unboxing system (where players unlock "luggage" with "keys').
