Can't download Plane previews

Whenever I go into the hanger and highlight one of the DLC planes, the model never shows up. And when I select "Download free Preview", I get an error and can't download any of them. Anyone having this issue? I also noticed that when I log in to the Games for Windows Live Marketplace App, I get an error regarding my download history. It doesn't show my gamerscore or gamerpic either. Could these issues be connected? I noticed they did abandon the Marketplace App and just moved everything to Xbox.com. Are the servers just turned off for the app?
