Halo: Spartan Assault was the first Win 8 iteration performed by an AAA Microsoft license and maybe another important Microsoft brand could reach at that SO according to a job ad posted by Microsoft Studios.
This is an excerpt from that job position:
“The small and highly agile Redmond-based team is focused on building a robust and highly scalable cloud service that is central to the game experience.”
It sounds like a game where you have to manage your resources. Viva Piñata comes to my mind.
Thanks, VG24/7.
vgleaks: Microsoft Studios hints a new game for Win 8 part of a “beloved franchise”
So, this guy does seem to read between the really thin lines here. Keywords: robust, scalable, cloud, experience. It sure doesn't sound like a highly scalable Banjo game where you're just constantly building stuff. It does sound a little like Minecraft, or Trove.
How about a big giant Giant Bomb Viva Pinata/Banjo Kazooie shared server world. Sounds like cool shit! :D
