Home of the Witch-King's citadel of Carn Dum, Angmar is the Northern stronghold of Sauron in Middle Earth.
Bree is a town in Tolkien's Middle-Earth. It's home to the famous inn The Prancing Pony, owned and run by Barliman Butterbur.
Sauron's stronghold in Mirkwood. Dol Guldur was a seat of power for Sauron as he regained his strength before returning to Mordor.
Earth is a rocky planet orbiting the Sun, and the homeworld of Humanity. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy defines Earth as "mostly harmless."

The Pelennor Fields is the location of the major battle in Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. It's also the location of a few battles in the Return of the King game.
Rohan is in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth and is one of the realms controlled by men. Rohan lies just east of Mordor and plays a significant role in The Lord of the Rings.
Games often place themselves in the past, in order to tell a story. If a game is set in antiquity it may be added to the "Ancient World" location
