    Miis of In-Game Characters

    Concept »

Games that feature characters that are in some instances rendered as special or custom Miis that are otherwise depicted in a non-Mii fashion.

    Short summary describing this concept.

    Overview

In addition to player created Miis or premade Miis that act as characters within a game, some games utilize Miis as alternate renditions of characters that otherwise appear in a non-Mii fashion.

    Examples

    Trauma Team

During Naomi Kimishima's story segments of Trauma Team, Naomi will routinely interact with an agent she calls "Little Guy." When Little Guy contacts her via a computer, his appearance is rendered in Mii format.

    Kid Icarus: Uprising

Kid Icarus: Uprising uses Miis as a means to illustrate who the player has traded weapon gems with through StreetPass. However, for weapon gems gifted to players by Nintendo through SpotPass, the game labels these gems as having been sent by the goddess Palutena. In these instances, the game displays a Mii-style portrait of Palutena.
