I'd like to try it, but i bought the game and haven't played it yet, so i'm a complete, and i mean, COMPLETE noob.

I have a server running 24/7 at grady.boldlygoingnowhere.org, have had quite a few people come through the last week or so, please, no griefing or altering other peoples' creations, but otherwise, enjoy.
 
Be aware the current server app is SUPER BUGGY.  If you're constantly being kicked out, set your view distance to normal, that seems to help a lot.  I'm rebooting the server every night around 10pm MST to eliminate some CPU cycle utilization issues it seems to have, but otherwise I plan to keep it going as long as there's an interest in it.

I don't know how long I can keep my server going. I'm hoping some one will take it over and I'll send them the server in a .zip so that no one loses anything.

I got lost in a cave and spent an hour or so trying to get out. I'm never going back in that cave. :D
