A 3D procedurally-generated game of world exploration, resource harvesting, and freeform construction, featuring a unique block-based art style and online multiplayer. It received numerous ports and updates for nearly a decade after its initial release.
While I do love these creations it's also reminding me how limited the textures are within the game. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it wasn't easy and people do what they can with whatever there is on hand but sometimes it does get a little dull to-actually I just remembered this texture pack. Dude should've used it.
I was thinking about building Bolateria Castle from Demon's Souls in Minecraft actuallly.
And once again, the appeal of this is completely lost on me. I don't see anything done here that couldn't be done on a good map editor, with better end-results.
Reminds me of the whole Pokemon region some guys made which was fucking awesome. Never played Zelda, so it doesn't really intrigue me much, but it is neat.

The difference is that one is manual hard labour that requires thoughtful process of constructing a world block by block.
So, what are the Terms of Service for Minecraft? Does it say nothing about copyright infringement of other intellectual properties or is it assumed everyone has no original ideas for constructing a world?
