Hi, would like to have the opportunity to present a website project here aimed at Minecraft players.
I wish to make a website that will allow players around the world to get easy access to texture packs, but also give them the posibility to configurate the content of the pack before they download and installs it.

The idea is that all the great creators that make original texture packs can upload their packages so that anyone can download, review, vote for and comment on their texture packs, HOWEVER if the one who downloads want to change parts of the pack like for example the pumpkin, boat and wool textures he/she will have the option to use a feature on the site called the "texture pack editor" that will allow them to choose one pack to be the texture pack to build upon and then browse through all texture packs (with same resolution) and preview each block, if there is a block that they find better than the one in the chosen pack they can press "add to editor" to add the previewed bocks texture file/pixel group. When done the site will generate a new package that will be downloadable for that user. + more features.
Well to make this site come true I am looking for some help since my knowledge of programming and code is limited to html, css and flash. I would like to:
Eather: come in touch with someone(s) that could code the needed code in php/java for the editor and file handling ++ (I will do the visual designs myself)
Or: If there is anyone who wants to help out but cannot do the coding, there is an option to help funding the project (If I am to use programmers through paid channels like Elance for example). To fund the project there is a pledge.com project were you can help out.
- Be in touch with me if you think you can help with the programming.
- If you want to support the project, but cannot program you could help out using pledgie.com
I would also like tips, ideas and thoughts from anyone who want to comment on the project.
