    Overview

    Much like Olympus Colosseum in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, the Mirage Arena is where players can take on waves of Unversed as well as exclusive bosses in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. They can also play the Command Board or compete in Rumble Racing here.

    In the PSP version, all of the Mirage Arena's modes can be played either solo or online. There is also a Versus Mode that can be played only online against up to 6 other players.

    In the PS3 version included in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, the developers took out the multiplayer aspect of the Mirage Arena making it only playable solo. This was done so that the developers could devote more time to Kingdom Hearts III instead. To account for this, certain bosses have been tweaked to make them more manageable solo.

    Trivia

    The Mirage Arena was originally planned to have a story element starring Laguna Loire from Final Fantasy VIII as the head of the arena. This was dropped due to his inclusion in Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy.
