    Elizabeth Hoover is one of recurring characters from The Simpsons.

    She is Lisa Simpson's 2nd Grade Teacher at the Elementary School who considers her best student at times and along with Ralph Wiggum who criticizes him of his negativity and learning disability.

    Miss Hoover is the counterpart of Bart's Teacher Edna Krabappel and her boss is Principal Seymour Skinner and she is a currently single woman living in her own house that she became Apu's Bachelor date with some single and desperate women.

    She was first mentioned by Lisa as it's her birthday in episode Bart the General and her first real appearance in episode: Brush with Greatness.
