Dude, the high-end edition of Modern Warfare 2 is going to come with functioning night vision goggles. That's the mostest baddest-assest game pack-in thing of all time. I wonder if they'll fit on my Master Chief helmet...
The goggles ship with the highest version, the "Prestige" edition. A lesser edition called "Hardened" will also be available for $79.99. Both of those will come with a download token for Call of Duty Classic, a downloadable version of the first COD game, as well as an art boox and some other stuff.
Check out this video of Robert Bowling unboxing this thing for more details, and notice that only the standard edition seems to say "Call of Duty" on ithe box.

like i said in that other thread.
This is the greatest and best limited edition of anything ever. This even beats out the fucking Batman one... OH MY GOD! MUST BUY THEM BOTH AND A BECOME SUPER HERO!
I'd definitely buy it, because I'm for useless junk. Besides, I'd totally run outside with night-vision goggles on, and look like a tool in the process. The price is a big factor, though, I really don't want to spend too much over $100. Take Halo 3 Legendary Edition for a example, piece of shit helmet that was utterly useless.
Im wondering how many runs of the "prestige edition" they are gonna make? Will there be enough supply for the demand or is it gonna be another SFIV tournament stick issue
Night vision goggles? Dude, I think that qualifies as a prime example of MEGARADNESS. I'll totally consider it.
I don't know if I will be willing shell out the money necessary to purchase that edition. Plus, there are so many other games coming out this fall that I want to buy as well.
I feel bad for the people that are gonna put on those NVG and expect a military grade product...... prepare for disappointment folks.
Hmm, seriously considering buying the Prestige Edition. But that is at least another game I could buy if I don't.
This is FUCKING AWESOME i've always wanted some night vision googles now i can get them with A BAD ASS GAME!
*Slow Clap* Good job guys. I wasn't going to buy this game but now i am. Unless its like $200 for the night vision version. If it's $100-$130 i will def be getting it. But only if their is a PC version as i refuse to play shooters on a console again. Also this wins my best collectors edition of a game award ever made. Previously held by halo 3 for the spartan helmet. Which of course as will be the same with this game is the only reason i bought it.
The NVG's quality are going to be so terrible. I really wonder what the "at cost" price is compared to the "retail" price.
