    Hi. I know you can play multiplayer with friends that have the 3DS version of the game.

    But can you play with one friend on the gamepad and one on the tv? That would be perfect as the game is best played with friends.

    Gamepad is only used for inventory management etc., not actual gameplay.

    It's too bad, but it looks like it'll only be 3DS to WiiU local multiplayer.

    I've always wanted them to do some 4-player split screen Monster Hunter... but apparently that just doesn't seem like a good idea to them.

    The 3DS version might be cool, though... if it has local wireless multiplayer.
