Okay so my wiiu can not even remotely hold an Internet connection so there isn't going to be pretty much much no chance of me playing this online. My question is would this game even be worth getting if I can't play multiplayer?

Yes. If I recall right the other games where set up that you could kill harder stuff alone. You just needed to be more careful and plan more.

Its a very fun experience and I would personally say yes it is worth it.

Also you will have Cha-Cha and Kayamba to help you out when you play alone. Two little NPC dudes.

Yes, even though the real fun of Monster Hunter is teaming up with others the single player experience is still very good.

If you like the gameplay, the word is you can play 100% of the game solo. Obviously it is harder without help, but the game provides AI companions to easy that.

It's totally playable solo. And that's how I'm considering playing - don't really have the time anymore for anything multiplayer. It's sure as hell harder, especially if you do the group quests solo.

Definitely. I've played just about every MH game so far solo. Though i haven't beaten them entirely, I still had a bast with them and love the series.

You will have to be EXTREMELY good to successfully kill everything in the game by yourself, but it can be done, and 95% of it is perfectly reasonable to solo.
