Thought I would let everyone know about the free in-game stuff Capcom is giving away for people that own Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. It is a pretty nice selection of items for early game, and even contains a little surprise. You don't need a code or anything to get it, but it is easily missed, and it is only available until March 15th. If you want to check the blog post by Capcom (warning: has spoilers about a few special items you can make with the free stuff if you care about that) here is the link.

Here are the steps if you want to save the surprise for yourself in game (if you can't figure out how to make the special items it is all detailed in the blog post):

1) Go to the Nintendo eShop

2) Download and install Patch 1.1

3) Load Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

4) Go to "Your House"

5) Talk to the "Housekeeper"

6) Select "Downloadable Content"

7) Go to the "Gift Area" option

8) Download the Starter Pack

9) Exit the Download Menu

10) Check your Item Box

I was confused when I downloaded the starter pack, because I didn't see the other items there.

I also didn't know I had to forge the Palico outfit myself, I thought it just came with the pack. Good to know!
