I just recently got into this series over the holidays with Ultimate 3 on the 3DS, but I'm willing to upgrade so I can play through the new content with any Monster Hunter Duders out there.

I don't know, I kinda feel the franchise fatigue. Would have been great on Vita with actual DUAL analog sticks.

Kind of torn about MH4U. On one hand, I'd love to be there for the release of a brand new monster hunter in the west. On the other hand, going from MH3U to this, I dunno man, I don't think I want to play this on a small screen.

I got an email earlier with a bunch of demo codes on it earlier. I'll try to give this one more than about 20 minutes before I delete it.

Ugh, wish the 3DS was designed in a way to make the claw viable. Can't really spring for a New 3DS yet so I guess my only other option is to buy the frankenstick? Do they even still sell those?

Also big ups for putting the date in the thread title.

It is sad you can't do the claw, however I have to say the Circle Pad Pro is fantastic. Used it extensively for MH3U, definitely worth dropping £15 - plus the batteries still haven't died since I got it back when that came out.

I've only played Monster Hunter on a handheld, so it's kinda funny to me when people say they couldn't possibly do that.

I played 3U on both Wii U and 3DS. Personally; it felt fine on 3ds. At most I can say swimming took some getting used to without CCP.

    But it's still playable.

In the same way people got used to clawing; you get used to the touchscreen pad with enough practice.

I'm excited for the N3DS Nub though.

Why don't they just release this on Steam? I think it would be a hit.

You know, I miiiiiight get this instead of Majora's Mask. Although the lack of a second analog stick is troubling.

I've never used the digital d-pad or any sort of claw technique that I know of.

I'm torn between buying this or Majora's Mask as the first game for my new 3DS. I mean, my new, New 3DS.
