Overview

Moon Hunters is a multiplayer action RPG developed and published by Kitfox Games for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 released in March of 2016. It was announced via the Square Enix Collective in January of 2014.

Story

One fateful autumn evening the moon, the source of all magic and spiritual power, failed to rise over the land of Mercuria. Without the moon's presence a darkness grew, monsters rose up and cast the lands of Mercuria into chaos.

Development

Kitfox Games launched a Kickstarter for Moon Hunters in August of 2014. They were looking for $45,000 however backers raised $178,000, this allowed them to develop online multiplayer and bring the game to the PlayStation Network.
