    Overview

Moon: Remix RPG Adventure is an role-playing adventure game that was the first in a trilogy of games created by the short lived developer, Love-de-Lic. The game was initially published in Japan for the PlayStation by ASCII Entertainment on October 16, 1997. A western release was also announced at E3 1997 but it was eventually canceled for undefined reasons. Moon has since become a cult classic that is highly praised for deconstructing the conventions and tropes of the Japanese role-playing genre.

Many years later, Onion Games, a studio founded by Moon's game designer Yoshiro Kimura, released a direct port of Moon for the Nintendo Switch on October 10, 2019. The port was released in English as well as on August 27, 2020 with Tim Rogers, who had previously translated Onion Games' Dandy Dungeon, being responsible for the game's localization.
