Very nice! I love it. I have two versions of the Mortal Kombat theme on my mp3 player, I'd love to get other versions of it too. Can we download this?

Wow...that was actually pretty good. Nice job! I too am pumped for this game...except for the lackluster fatalities (from what I've seen).

Not a huge fan of this style of music personally, but despite that fact, it's well-constructed, dramatic as hell, and it goes to prove that the Giant Bomb community is the best community in gaming!!!

i wanted to maybe do more with the end, (let it last longer while implementing various effects on it) but it was getting kind of long for a mortal kombat song

Any kind of decent paced rock music really. Definitely isn't my type of music or anything, but that doesn't change the fact that I thought it was a very well done remix.

do any of you guys have any requests for a different remix? you know, not something obvious like the mario or zelda themes, but something that is simple yet has room for wide musical interpretation?

well, it was all done on a computer using software called FL Studio. (real expensive stuff) You know, the way electronic bands like daft punk and squarepusher do it. It's a tedious process, and requires you to know about general audio engineering type stuff.
the only thing i didn't make from scratch is the "MORTAL KOMBAT" scream.

    AWESOME REMIX!
I normally listen to Classic Rock, but I enjoy myself some Techno and House every now and then...

I've never heard of Squarepusher, but i can definitely hear the Daft Punk influence... and even a little Benny Benassi...

You know what you should do next? A remix of some Metroid music... here's a link to a bunch of the original songs to help you out.

I'll be honest: At the beginning, I was thinking "What...the fuck....is this shit?" but that might have had a little to do with the fact my headphones were way up. Loud, bassy buzzsynths kind make my jaw bones rattle. :P

Once it hit its stride, though, it paid off. Great job, Thrawn. Don't let my initial impressions put you off. ^_^

In all honesty, a mixture between Death Metal, Dance Music, Classic Rock, and Industrial music.

Also, I love your remix.  Downloaded and listening to again!

loud, bassy buzzsynths are the best "instruments" ever.
