This looks well put-together to boot, and it seems like you guys have considered the most pressing issues that might interfere. It's a damn shame, given the level of a beat-down Erron Black and I had in store for you lot, but, but.. That's life.

As for you other Europeans bummed out about this NA-only restriction (due to the region-locks, no fault lies with the fine makers of this tournament), if there's enough interest, we'll be setting up a tournament for our own selves at some point in the close future.

I agree with how you're handling character/variation switching. It's pretty standard tournament protocol that only the loser can switch. Now if you got into character banning just because they were popular online... That's something I can't get behind. As far as real game breaking variation glitches, I would let the tournament scene decide that. For instance this Spectral Ermac meter gain thing seems pretty over powered. NRS is usually on point with patching un intended game breaking stuff out quickly, so that's a good thing.

So after really bouncing around and trying out people some of who I surprisingly really liked like Kotal Khan. I just keep coming back to Cassie Cage. She's by far my favorite to play and MK character in general now.

@l1ghtn1n: Yeah same. I go brawler. Her spec ops in the right hands is a better variation but I can't do it justice. Plus her MMA punches brutality is Ahu-mazing.

Man I was all geared up to enter the tournament but my son's birthday party is that Saturday so I'd hate to enter and then be a no show. I will keep playing and be ready for the next one when and if it happens. I always check for a Giant Bomb lobby when I play so hopefully I'll fight you and some other duders more this weekend.
