Mortal Kombat
The Mortal Kombat series, and its many games, continues to deliver gruesome fighting action to its fans.
New Mortal Kombat Film On The Way
The stunt actor who played Scorpion in the past Mortal Kombat film has said a new film is on the way, and that filming will start in September this year.
Chris Casamassa recently announced that he will be reprising his role on the third film, which will be called, "Mortal Kombat 3: Return to Man Island" (-homo-erotic action film?)
Warner Bros recently acquired the Mortal Kombat film franchise, making this very likely to be true.
Thanks to QJ.net
Could it by any chance be GIRLY MAN island?
also unless they really play off people's nostalgia (and release a good product) like SFIV did i don't see how this can be successful
What a title.
Cassamassa has been talking up the third film for years, now. There was even a rumor a no-name director would take the reigns. I'll believe it when I see it.

Oh, I totally believe he said it, I don't need to be shown the article for that. Like I said, he's been quoted on the record in saying another Mortal Kombat is on the way. A reboot, or some shit. I'll believe the film when I see it.
Yes but as the article points out, WB's recent acquisition of the franchise makes this very likely to be true.
" Nice, another crappy movie to see that is based off a video game! "The first film was not that bad. It was actually enjoyable.
I kind of figured this was going to happen. Ed Boon has said about a year ago that there was a script for a new film.
I really did like the first film. The scene with Johnny Cage throwing the autograph picture after defeating Scorpion, fucking amazing.=) I'm looking forward to the new film.
